Where is the Cornwall Slip & Slide?

We are based at the Atlantic Reach Resort which is conveniently located just off the A30 and is less than a 5 minute drive from Highgate Junction. If you're travelling from Newquay, it will only take you 12 minutes by car, while Bodmin is just 20 minutes away, and St Austell is 15 minutes by car.

Does the Cornwall Slip & Slide have free parking?

Yes, and loads of it! When you arrive at Atlantic Reach resort, follow the signs for the Slip & Slide and you will be able to park on the grass right next to it.

What time should we arrive for our session?

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before your session starts. This will give you plenty of time to check in, grab your wristbands from reception, get changed and prepare yourself for a brilliant slip and slide experience at Cornwall Slip and Slide. Please note that all sessions last one hour, and the last slides will be 5 minutes before the end of the session so that we can prepare for the next session.

How much does Cornwall Slip & Slide cost?

Each session will cost £14 per person for an hour of sliding fun! Children aged 3 and below can slide free with an accompanying adult.

What should we wear while using the Slip & Slide?

We recommend wearing a wetsuit and we do have wetsuits available for hire on site. However, they are not required and normal swimming outfits and rash vests are also fine, especially on the warm days!

Feel free to bring your own wetsuits if you have them, but we do have limited ones available to hire for £5. We require a £15 CASH only deposit for a wetsuit and upon return of the wetsuit we will refund you £10.

What equipment do you provide?

We have loads of body boards and one person and two person rings available for your sliding pleasure! We also have a selection of wetsuits available to hire for £5.

Do you cater for children's parties?

Yes of course we do! You could also align you Slip & Slide experience with the Cornwall Laser Tag, swimming or Cornwall Segway at Atlantic Reach Resort to make it a fun-filled day for the kids.

What is the minimum age to go on the Slip & Slide?

The minimum age is about 2 years old. Children aged 4 and below must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult. We do not charge for little ones aged 3 and below to try the Slip and Slide. From aged 4 and above, children normally LOVE the Slip and Slide and are full price.

Is there a maximum age for the Slip & Slide?

Not really no! But participants must be fit and healthy and free from injury. Cornwall Slip & Slide also cannot allow pregnant mums-to-be or people with known injuries onto the Slip and Slide.

Does the Cornwall Slip & Slide have refreshments?

Yes indeed. Located in the same field is a cafe serving all sorts of treats and tasty things as well as a crazy golf course and Cornwall Segway. Also on site Atlantic Reach Resort also offers Cornwall Laser Tag, swimming, gym use, and loads more! So come along and make a day of it at Atlantic Reach Resort.

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Especially on warmer days. You can book online through our website.

What happens if we need to cancel our session?

If you provide us with 24 hours notice or more, we can change your session to a different date or provide a full refund if required. If you contact us within 24 hours of the session, we are unable to provide a refund.

What happens if our session is cancelled due to really poor weather?

Cornwall Slip & Slide will endeavour to run our sessions but safety is our number one priority. We can operate in the rain, but really strong winds or storm conditions will result in cancelling sessions. In this instance we can either book you in for a session on another day or provide a full refund.

Can we bring our pet along to the Cornwall Slip & Slide?

Yes, friendly dogs kept on a lead are welcome at the Cornwall Slip & Slide.

Can we bring alcohol to consume while at the Cornwall Slip & Slide?

No, the safety and enjoyment of our guests is of absolute priority for us and no alcohol can be consumed while at the Cornwall Slip and Slide. We will refuse entry to anyone deemed to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

Does Cornwall Slip and Slide check the safety of the water?

Absolutely yes! Our PH levels and so forth are being checked daily by the experienced staff at Atlantic Reach Resort who carefully manage a number of swimming pools on site.
